November 2004
Madison Design Studios announces a new line of glass ornaments, Peaces of the World™. In the same tradition of Flakes and Flurries™, these ornaments consist of beautiful snowflake-inspired designs created by the repetition of a single, hand-lettered word. In this case, the word "peace" is in each of eight different languages; creating eight beautiful and unique designs. Peaces of the World™ are available for purchase at our online store.

May 2004
Trinity, a one-of-a-kind, etched glass vase, wins a $500 Jurors’ Award in the American Greetings Spring Fine Art Show. Another piece, Patterns, was accepted into the juried art show as well. Both pieces were on display while the show ran at the Metropolitan Gallery in Cleveland during the months of May and June, 2004.

January 2004
The Genesis Vase wins second place in Review 2004, a prestigious international competition held every year by the premier calligraphy publication, Letter Arts Review. Only 53 works out of 354 entries were accepted. It's acceptance also garnered the piece to be part of an exhibition shown at the annual lettering conference, Confluence, which was held in St. Louis, Illinois in July of the same year.
